With the release of the RTI iPanel, we’ve given our clients a new form of System Control. Having the iPad as the center of the Entertainment System, our clients can stream Panodora, iHeart Radio and other Apple Media (Movies, Music) to their Sound Systems, via the Airport Express and AppleTV. The RTI iPanel allows us to deliver a control system that is easy to use and can control devices while away from the house.

We just wrapped a major video surveillance retro fit project. We installed 13 Chanel Vision cameras in and around our clients property.  Our intial layout for getting coverage of the front and rear points of entry gave us great camera positions, but we had two areas we wanted camera coverage, but we had no mounting surface.

So my trusty sidetech Pancho and I came up with the idea of installing 2 Cameras into a bird house. With the Bird House cameras, we could get a good view of the hidden front slope and street, and an unobstructed view of a front point of entry. 

Our client loves the camera views, and the bird house!!  The Bird House Color Scheme even matches our clients house!!

So now our client has a birds eye view of the house and can check in on their camera system with either their iPhone, iPad, Droid or PC.

Looks like Lutron is ready to start shipping the RadioRa2 temperature controller components.

Here’s the info from an email i received this morning.

Add temperature control to the RadioRA 2 system for increased convenience and energy savings. The three-part design puts each component where it makes sense.

• seeTemp can be mounted in locations which would not normally be appropriate for a thermostat, such as exterior walls and sunny spaces.

• The wireless temperature sensor is easy to position and allows the temperature to be measured in the optimum location.
